WALTER THOMAS

Chicago Soul man Walter Thomas first came to the attention of the UK Soul fraternity as the writer of "Hold On To The Blues", a UK dance floor hit and USA No.1 in 2005 for Blues singer Lonne Givens (RSR 105). Walter is no stranger to the international soul scene having toured extensively with the Temptations and Friends Of Distinction. He was also the opening act for The Drifters, The Emotions, Bette Wright and The Floaters. He has honed his mello, soothing soul sound over years of performing on the Chicago Night Club circuit and has penned some of the finest modern soul grooves. At last, we can all now enjoy the original version of "Hold On To The Blues".
