LONNE GIVENS
Introducing Lonne Givens from Chicago,
Michigan. Lonne cut his teeth in the bars, clubs and diners of Chicago
and now works extensively in Detroit where he is well respected
for his R&B show. He has worked and toured with The Soul Sensations,
Dennis Edwards, The Floaters and The Detroit Emeralds for many years
and still writes today with James ‘Emerald’ Mitchell.
Lonne is currently working on his 3rd solo
album, the first being "Salute To The Blues" and the second
"Still Holding On". His first release in the U.K. - the
Real Side single "Hold On To The Blues" - was cut to vinyl
in 2005 and has long since sold out. As a direct result of the Real
Side release Lonne scored a US No.1 on the Carolina Beach Music Chart
and now regularly performs on the East Coast.
